A somewhat sloppy attempt at a New Zealand Story arcade speedrun. For what regards the level progression, this is the fastest path possible with the standard (Japanese version) levels. Before criticing this, take note: a) The game was on the highest difficulty setting. This means that enemies are unforgiving, have minimal attack delays, and bosses take more hits. b) No speedrunning tools or RNG manipulation was used for this run. Depending on game status, certain bonuses may be different with slightly different score/player status e.g. sometimes a magic mirror appears in level 5-2, allowing to skip directly to the end of an otherwise tedious level. 3) Compared to e.g. the Master System version, Tiki swims faster, flies faster but walks slower. Also, there are no more teleports/warps after level 5-1. 4) I know I died many times, sometimes this was unvoluntary/inevitable, sometimes it was part of a time-saving strategy.
