Wow, Knack is not doing that shabby , more than 100k, I thought it was going to bomb so hard

Well it is one game in a fairly small library. So sales are helped by little competition. Basically if you're not a FPS fan Knack is one one of only a few options for you.

Knack sold over 100k on launch?! That is quite some impressive numbers for a launch title that is not a multi gen shooter. As for Killzone: Shadow Fall, also impressive.

Great sales. Glad to see Killzone: Shadow Fall doing so well. Knack is doing better than I thought. Personally, it's one that I'm really looking forward to trying out for myself.

Wait! PS4 only sold 60,000 on Saturday? Official Sony press release said 1 million in the first day. Talk about front loaded sales :-P

It has more to do with the fact that stock ran out than anythign else, ppl depleated every stock in existance on day 1 so no one bought it day 2 cause there was not a single unit avaliable.

I am surprised about Knack! A fair amount of launch games did really well, that's great. These don't include digital sales right? I wonder how many were bought online.

I appreciate the reply and thanks for the info. I hope Knack does well enough to get a sequel and they listen to fan feedback and improve everything.

So CoD & Co. are the sales river of the next gen on PS4? Disappointing.

Wasn't going to pick one up, had one preordered from Amazon for months than talked myself out of it and cancelled the order.
Then I changed my mind but it seamed to late I was on a let me know list from Amazon and on the 14 about 5pm I get an email about a PS4 bundle available.

Ended up getting next day air and it arrived saturday. pu killzone and now I'll have to decide what to play when my xbox1 gets here friday! Doah to many games.

Lol vgchartz being sloppy again. How could NBA Live sold any units when it hasnt released yet? Ofcourse its deleted now, but there are threads about it. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=172528
The same happened with Aliens CM for Wii U, the game was cancelled yet vgchartz was reporting thousands of wii u units sold for the week. Who bought them?

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes would have had at least one more sale if I was able to find it in stock ANYWHERE at all.

lol. So all those gamers who bought Call of Duty: Ghosts are people of refined taste?

sany said more than one million to customers (something in sony spain said in an spanish forum between 1.1 and 1.3) and vgchartz says 984k?

  • 0

knack selling good so far ! glad reviews aren't everything cause they have been giving cod good scores still after mw2 and imo they are garbage

  • 0
foodfather (on 19 November 2013)

ugh sad to see COD leading the pack again. Clearly nothing will change next gen. Some good attach rates though, far better than the PS3 had at launch.

Rogerioandrade (on 19 November 2013)

So... CoD drove console sales after all...

  • 0
Rogerioandrade (on 19 November 2013)

I wonder how many of those consoles were actually bought by people who gave up buying the XboxOne.....

  • 0
Conegamer (on 19 November 2013)

Somehow...I don't see COD having a 70% attach rate. Having said that, it's a very promising start!

  • 0
DarkD (on 19 November 2013)

Die angry birds die... Never played the game, but the developer occasionally pops up in the media and says something that really pisses me off.

  • 0
Ganoncrotch DarkD (on 19 November 2013)

you never played it but you want them to die? you should maybe at least try one of their games before having such a harsh judgement of them.

  • 0

Well I contributed to Ghosts, Killzone , and Lego (o: on that list my next considerations are nba 2k and injsutice

Impressive COD sales. I really believed Battlefield franchise would take next gen over among shooters.

  • 0
Piernik zumnupy10 (on 19 November 2013)

with what? cod ghosts has one of the best single player campaigns in the histry of the series while b4 flops as hard as b3.

  • -2
stuffmakesmelol zumnupy10 (on 19 November 2013)

@Piernik Sure BF4 didn't sold as well as BF3, but the same should be said for Ghosts (Compare that games sales to Black ops 2), as you can tell from the Ghosts. Also, that's quite an ignorant comment right sir, are you sure BF3 (Well, that's what I'm assuming what game you abbreviated anyway) flopped?

Just 2000 idiots that bought Angry Birds Star Wars for $40 on PS4.... when those same games are much cheaper and better played on iOS or Android devices.

  • -1

Glad to see that stoopid Nervous Birds turned out as irrelevant as it should. Proof that PS4 users are people of refined taste.

CoD

(Joke - but seriously there are many different definitions of taste.)

2.5 games per buyer? Makes sense, but why would people get both Call of Duty and Battlefield?

  • -2
