Dear scholars,

Starting June 29, individuals may apply for a special entry permit to come to Taiwan for purposes include international conferences or international exchanges etc...fellowship recipients are included.

However, to enter Taiwan , please noted that:
(1)
Upon entering Taiwan, all foreign nationals must present an English-language certificate of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of boarding the flight to Taiwan and undergo a 14-day home quarantine period.
(2)
Regarding the 14-day home quarantine period, you need to book a quarantine hotel. From our experience, the all expenses for quarantine period will cost around 45,000 NTD. Our center do not cover this part.
If you decide to come to Taiwan, we can help you checking the hotel and make further arrangements .
