I've uninstalled/reinstalled numerous times and it didn't help. I've done a bit of googling and there doesn't seem to be one specific reason this happens, lots of people are experiencing the communication platform crashing. I've tried some of the solutions they used like disabling anti-virus etc, but the problem still persists.

So does anyone know how to stop it?

TIA

I had the same problem... Are you using FliQLO screensaver? Cause this problem is only showed, when I used this screensaver. (So the screensaver not compatible with the WLCP)

Yup I am using that screensaver. I'll change it and see if it works.

@Lyle, I used MSN+ with the older version, I didn't think Patchou had released a new version yet?

Edit: ok I switched to another screensaver and it still crashes :/ Do you need to use a Windows screener?

quick fix.

The reason why FliQLO crashes Windows Live Messenger is because of the option "Show me as Busy and block my alters when I'm running a full-screen program or presentation settings are turned on". If that setting is unchecked, then all is well.
