Diouf arrested after man suffers serious head injuries in Manchester bar brawl
El-Hadji Diouf faces the threat of disciplinary action from Doncaster as well as a police inquiry over a nightclub brawl that left a man needing hospital treatment.
The forward was arrested - on suspicion of violent disorder - at the Circle Club in Manchester city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Bad weekend: El Hadji Diouf was relegated with Doncaster on Saturday
Doncaster, whose relegation from the Championship was sealed after a 4-3 home defeat against Portsmouth just hours earlier, have launched an investigation and will fine Diouf, who did not play in the game, if he has stepped out of line.

‘We don’t know the ins and outs at the moment, but we are looking into it,’ said chairman John Ryan.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: 'A fight had taken place and a 33-year-old man was injured.
'He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to the side of his head and to the side of his neck, and he remains in a serious but stable condition.
'Six men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, five of whom have been bailed until May 23 pending further police inquiries.
'Another man has assisted the investigation, which is ongoing.'
The Circle Club, a members-only bar, has in the past attracted professional footballers from both Manchester United and City, actors from Coronation Street and reality stars from Big Brother.
No-one at the Circle Club could be contacted for comment.
QPR defender Anton Ferdinand was questioned under caution by police, while five other men were arrested and bailed until May 23 pending further enquiries.
