Then you've pressed cancel to get back to the save screen with the 10 save files. It should have tried to sync if you are playing with the cloud on.
And then it crashed ?
and No, I don't use Cloud Save
If you try to save multiple times in the same file, is it still crashing when you try to get back ?
What do you mean by 'save multiple times in the same file'? Do you mean by saving few times at the same save point on the same tile?
What was the error message ?
FF7_en.exe has crashed
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: FF7_EN.exe
Application Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault module name: StackHash_b3ab
Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.17725
(and the list goes on)
Are you in fullscreen?
Have you tried starting a new game and saving to a new block?
Have you tried backing up and deleting your save files?
I doubt doing any of this will fix it, but it can't hurt to try on the off chance.
Don't you have a popup saying "unknown exception" when it crash ?
You are saves are correctly saved right ?
You are both playing the english version ?
You have the cloud turned off, this means you don't have any message (related to the saves) display in the top left corner except the "Your save has been locally saved" message.
Does it crash even if you don't save a file ? (you enter the save menu then press back).
And No, I'm not using Cloud Save feature at all.
This definately is the executable build error.
