NEW YORK -- The Toledo Mud Hens have placed left-handed relief pitcher Daniel Schlereth on the disabled list with left shoulder tendinitis.

Schlereth made the Opening Day roster for the Tigers but struggled before being sent to Triple-A Toledo a week ago. He was replaced on the roster by Thad Weber between the first and second game of a doubleheader against the Texas Rangers.

Schlereth had a 10.29 ERA in six appearances for the Tigers this season. He has not appeared in a game for the Mud Hens since being sent down.

In another move involving the Mud Hens, Zach Miner was promoted from Double-A Erie to Toledo. The Tigers obtained Miner from the Kansas City Royals for cash considerations on April 20.

Left-hander Fu-Te Ni was activated from the disabled list and rejoined the Mud Hens. Ramon Garcia was sent from Toledo to Erie.
