'Let it go, Let it go, can't hear it one more time!' Dad fed up with hit Frozen song shares his own parody version

A father fed up with hearing Let It Go from Disney's Frozen has shared his own parody cover of the hit song.

In Joshua Elson's rendition, which was shared by Scott S Kramer on YouTube, he laments how he can't seem to escape the catchy tune, which his wife and kids sing 'mornings, nights and in between.'

The video has been viewed more than 40,000 times on YouTube - a figure that pales in comparison to the original Frozen song's 126.5million views, effectively proving Mr Elson's point.

The video takes place in front of a blazing fireplace, with dolls from Frozen sitting on the mantle above.

The song begins: 'It all began a few months ago - just a movie, or so it seemed. My wife and kids now sing this song morning, nights, and in between.

'I even sang along, once or twice, a thousand times. Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried.'

As the song goes on, Mr Elson becomes more and more impassioned, seemingly emotional about how much the Frozen tune has plagued his mind.

'It's in my head, it's in my dreams, this freaking song is haunting me,' he sings, before breaking into the chorus: 'Let it go, let it go, can't hear it one more time. Let it go, let it go, I think I'm gonna lose my mind.'

In the original version, sung by Elsa the Snow Queen, who is voiced by Idina Menzel, she sings: 'Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore.'

Despite the fact that the lyrics express frustration and annoyance, the group who wrote it insisted in the video description that they are all fans of the song.

SING ALONG: THE LYRICS TO JOSHUA ELSON'S LET IT GO

It all began a few months ago

just a movie or so it seemed

My wife and kids now sing this song

morning, nights, and in between

I even sang along, once or twice, a thousand times

Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried

It's in my head, it's in my dreams,

this freaking song is haunting me

I've had enough, this has to stop

Please make it stop

Let it go, Let it go

Can't hear it one more time

Let it go, Let it go

I think I'm gonna lose my mind

I don't care

What my kids will say

Let this song be gone

I just can't take it another day

It's funny how one kids song

Can make my skin crawl

And the songs that once annoyed me

Don't get to me at all

It's time to see what I can do

To stop this song, find something new

No Hans, No Sven, No trolls for me

I'm free

Let it go, Let it go

I'm gonna smash the radio

Let it go, Let it go

No more YouTube videos

Here I stand

And I'm proud to say

Let this song be gone,

The Olaf song is better any way
